Company Description
SAW instruments originated from the caesar institute in Bonn as an interdisciplinary research project. The team of engineers and biochemists was able to develop the Surface Accoustic Wave (SAW) technology further towards applications in Life Sciences. Intensive research resulted in an acoustic biosensor with very high sensitivity, suited for a wide range of biomolecular interactions, from small molecules to complex samples like viruses and cells.
