Cochrane Pump Zimbabwe was formed in 1983 to manufacture and market pumps in Zimbabwe and surrounding territories. It was then a joint venture between Cochrane Holdings of Harare, Zimbabwe and Stork NV of Holland.We manufactured under licence the Stork range of centrifugal pumps. On 5th June1998, when Stork sold its Dutch and Belgian pump factories together with several joint ventures to Johnson Pump International, Sweden, we changed our name to Johnson Pump Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd. On 12th June 2005, we again changed our name to Cochrane Pump Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd.
